As of Today BassGrabbers Tournament Trails will no longer controlled and operated by myself Rus Prater. Our tournament on the river has been moved to September 30th. On this day, our current members will be referred to Joel Rodriguez who has now accepted the role as Head Tournament Director.
With this change, we are officially ending the point system and ECS. Also, registration fees have been eliminated from the program.
Me personally, I can no longer excerpt valuable time into running these events for free or for very little. I know and realize that many would rather not pay a registration fee and compete in tournaments that do not charge. That’s understandable. However, it has forced me to step down as Head Director and hand over operations to form unity. This however, is not necessarily a bad thing. This will now give us a chance to all reunite as one and finally get back to what we enjoy the fun of competing with each other. Tournaments will be available based on competitors choice of where they will be held.
My role will be moved simply to just competitor. A roll the I have desired for quite a while. I feel that there has been negative vibes and dissension among he ranks. However, I’m willing to let it go in the spirit of unity. I want to thank those who have always supported me in the decisions I’ve made through the years and today. I wish you all big bass and victorious wins.
R.M. Prater Sr.
